P 2 Homework – Friday 3rd February 2012 Thank you to all the children who brought in their fantastic Julia Donaldson books. We have enjoyed sharing them in class. We will be looking at a new author next week, Roger Hargreaves. If you have any Mr. Men or Little Miss books, we would love to borrow them for the week. Please ask your child about their favourite Julia Donaldson character. They can draw their character and then write a paragraph describing what the character looks like and their personality. Encourage your child to use joined up handwriting. In Maths we have learnt about making clockwise and anti-clockwise turns. Please help your child to make half and quarter turns on the worksheet. It may be helpful to use a real pencil to assist with finding out where the pencil will end up. The children have already practised using their bodies to make these turns! Dear children, Please tell your parents about your favourite Julia Donaldson character. Draw their picture then write about what your character looks like and what their personality is like. Use your pencil to work out the clockwise and anti-clockwise turns!
We are always updating the P2 Delicous website with new links. Please use the tabs on the right to search for games by subject. http://delicious.com/year2kellett
